About Norfolk Boat Sales

Norfolk Boat Sales is part of the family run boatyard Barnes Brinkcraft which has been established for 35 years.Barnes Brinkcraft run approximately ninety broads hire boats and fifteen luxury riverside cottages. For the past ten years Barnes Brinkcraft have successfully been buying and selling a wide variety of used craft ranging from sports boats to broads cruisers. Due to the back up of the boatyard we are able to offer our clients a superb service from our large team of engineers, boat builders and valeters.

Due to the success Barnes Brinkcraft had in selling boats Norfolk Boat Sales was opened in 2007 by group sales manager Matthew Stone. The growth of the business in Wroxham led to further offices opening in Brundall & Lowestoft. Norfolk Boat Sales is now one of the largest and most reputable boat sales operations in East Anglia.  Due to our superb locations and excellent marketing we will always aim to achieve the best possible prices, ease of sale and a quick turn around.

Meet the Teams

 

 Brundall

  Matthew Stone – Group Sales Manager

Matthew has lived & worked in Wroxham all his life & has been selling boats for nearly twelve years. His enthusiasm & passion for the job is second to none. Having set up Norfolk Boat Sales four years ago alongside its parent company ‘Barnes Brinkcraft’ things have gone from strength to strength. Matthew’s focus over the next few years is to establish Norfolk Boat Sales as one of the most reputable operations in the UK & to work alongside Broom Boats in helping them become a major force in European boatbuilding. Matthew runs the Brundall office & deals with all the new Broom new boat sales as well as the brokerage.

   David Lawrence – Trainee Broker

David is the newest member of the team. Having worked at our parent company for many years we new that David had the work ethic & enthusiasm to become a very good broker. His ability to overcome any problems efficiently & his excellent manner with clients gives him a very good grounding for the future. David works at Brundall assisting with the new & used boat sales.

Wroxham Office

Janine Reynolds – Senior Broker

Janine has only been with us for one year but brings with her a great deal of experience. Having worked for another local company for many years we knew of her first class reputation & were thrilled to get her on board. Janine has taken over the Wroxham office and I know she will run this with both professionalism & success.

Colin Pealing – Broker

Colin is our ‘Mr Reliable’. Whatever the circumstances you can guarantee he will be there & if you are ever in a muddle you can rely on Colin to help you out. Colin helps run the Wroxham office & you can guarantee honest advice & a caring service from him.

Peter Blatchly

Peter has been with us for many years and knows many of our clients. His experience & knowledge have been invaluable over the years and would be sorely missed. Peter works one day a week at the Wroxham office.

 Lowestoft

 Bernie Lake Bernie Lake is a qualified boat builder by trade and had a company which was very successful in the 80’s and early 90’s developing and producing a range of sports cruisers which had a good market in the UK and Europe. He then moved to a retail operation, gained lots of experience in brokerage and new boat sales and has also been involved in local marina management.  Sharon Halliday Sharon Halliday has been employed in the commercial and leisure marine industry for over 15 years and has been involved in boat sales at Lowestoft Haven Marina since 2005. With a wealth of experience in yacht brokerage, Sharon welcomes customers old and new and aspires to provide a professional yet friendly brokerage service with an emphasis on good “old fashioned” customer service.
